Logo | Bournemouth Surf Reef

Bournemouth Borough Council commissioned Perception to design a logo for an artificial surf reef, the cornerstone of a £3 million regeneration project of the seafront and surrounding infrastructure in Boscombe.

The creative brief called for a visual solution that conveyed the cyclical motion of the reef design, with underwater dynamics reflected by wave forms at the surface. The resulting logo featured a fluid graphic, mirrored to portray this motion cycle, coupled with distinctive, contemporary sans serif font.
